The Thruston’s 4th of July was very exctiting! We started off the day by getting up at 8am and going to the parade held here locally in Downtown Monument. It was a lot of fun! This year becca and I walked around and actually got to see people we knew which was very nice!
Waiting for the parade to start…
Visiting with friends! Becca, Abbie, and Katherine…
Me joining in on the picture!
All of the old awesome cars come out for the parade, which is a lot of fun to see! Becca thought taht this one was super cool…”except for the windows”, she says.
I thought this one was awesome.
After the parade was over, it was becca and mine job to make the fruit salad! I did help, but I just couldn’t get into the picture.
My self portrait…
Becca working hard!
That afternoon at 3pm, we went over to our pastors house to eat dinner and hang! It was tons of fun! We played Phase 10 Twist and played ladder golf.
This is the Beautiful cake that Meagan made for us…it was very delicious.
Meagan explaining what our choices were.
This is Melody, Meagan’s older sister. She is awesome too!
We played this game called Phase 10 Twist, and I lost horribly. I much prefer the normal Phase 10, cause I can actually paly it and I can win. We had lots of fun and laughs. The Rowell family makes me laugh…they are awesome! Later we went to Palmer lake to see the fireworks which was really awesome! And that concluded our 4th of July celebration.
